Checkmate Foundation

BRODIEPHOTO has really been a blessing in the life of our foundation. Matt Brodie has given much of his valuable time and efforts to support not only our cause, but also public education in the state of South Carolina. But not only do I speak of his heart and good intentions, but also of his professionalism, customer service and photos, which ended up exceeding our highest expectations.

While I must admit that I do not understand all the nuances of the art of photography, I can tell you that his photos were greatly enjoyed by our promotional model, Miss South Carolina Galaxy, Rebecca Bearden, by our donors and supporters alike, who were very pleased to see our pictures done with such quality.

I would highly recommend Matt's services to anyone who wants someone who is professional, accountable, who goes above and beyond to meet a client's tastes, and someone who is, above all, a great human being.


Kristen - Wedding on Hilton Head Island

I am lucky enough to have known Matt Brodie for close to fifteen years. When I was planning our wedding, I was thrilled to find out that he would be able to travel to Hilton Head and shoot both our engagement and wedding photos. He has the amazing ability to put his clients at ease and capture the moments between poses that often end up being the best pictures. Our enegagement photos are beautiful. He was with us the entire day of our wedding from start to finish. He captured so many wonderful moments that we otherwise would have missed. We love our wedding pictures both posed and candid. Matt puts so much thought into every shot and it truly shows in his beautiful work. We can't wait to get the chance to work with Matt again. In the words of my husband, "He's the man!"

Katy & Brad's Wedding

Matt was an excellent photographer. He was with me throughout my entire wedding weekend. He was thoughtful and eager to make our pictures not only beautiful, but also specific to our tastes. He went above and beyond by coming up with creative photos (of our rings, my dress, etc) that I would never have thought to request, but ended up being some of my favorite pictures. He was also extremely professional; I always knew I could count on him and that I would never have to worry about him not showing up, not calling back, etc. If you would like to make your wedding a little less stressful and a little more worry-free, and if you would like to be able to always remember it and look back at it and see its full beauty and emotional sentiment, then I would, without equivocation, recommend Matt Brodie to do your photography. - Katy Valdes
