Engagement Sessions - with a twist

What is a wedding without a photographer??  One wouldn’t dream of having a wedding without photography to capture the moments.  What about engagements?

We all know what a typical engagement portrait session is. We as wedding photographers see them all the time. They are a lot of fun and give the couple a chance to do a couple of important things. First, it gets them used to being photographed together, it also gives them a chance to get comfortable with their photographer. You get great images for your announcement, scrapbooks, and walls. At Brodiefoto we love everything about weddings, that includes engagement portraits. But, what if you could put a new twist on them? What if you could have the ACTUAL engagement photographed.

Why not capture the moment when you get on one knee and she gasps in shock!?  Use the images on your save-the-dates or announcement cards, compile them into a slide show and share with friends and family so they can be in on the moment, too. How fun is that??!

I know the chances are slim that a photographer is already on your mind when you're buying the ring, but documenting the whole engagement process is a sure way to make unique pictures. They're great for slideshows at the wedding, sharing online, and even putting into the beginning of wedding albums. 

If the actual engagement has already happend that's ok. We'd love to step in and do an engagement portrait session with you. However, if you know your friend is getting married, why not give them a heads up on getting the engagement photographed. They may even make you Best Man, or Maid of Honor for it.
